Johnson County War tells the story of the Hammett brothers, Cain (Tom Berenger), Harry (Luke Perry) and Dale (Adam Storke), who find themselves in the middle of a rapidly escalating range war between the cattle barons - and their hired gun Hunt Lawton (Burt Reynolds) - and the homesteaders who have moved onto their grazing lands.  Written and produced by Diana Ossana and Larry McMurtry (Brokeback Mountain, Hud, The Last Picture Show, Terms of Endearment, Lonesome Dove).
